This policy explains what information Nexus Youth Academy ("Nexus", "we", "us") collects when you use nexusyouthacademy.com or register for one of our programs, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
1. Information we collect
When you register through the form on our website, we collect:
- your first and last name;
- your email address and phone number;
- your age;
- the MUN conference you plan to attend;
- your answers to the consent boxes (that your parent or guardian is aware of your registration, that you accept the program fee terms, and whether you agree to be photographed or filmed), whether you register for the program or for one-on-one sessions, and the payment option you choose.
When you pay, you send us a screenshot of your Whish Money or OMT transfer receipt on WhatsApp. We never ask for, and never receive, bank card details through this website.
2. How we use it
- to register you for the program and keep track of places;
- to contact you about dates, venue, payment and anything else you need before and during the program;
- to prepare the training around the conference you are attending.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
3. Photos and videos
We only photograph or film participants who ticked the photo consent box when registering. That content may be used on our website and social media to promote our programs. You can withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us, and we will stop using new content of you and remove what we reasonably can.
4. Participants under 18
Our programs are for students, and each one has its own age range (the MUN Training Program is for ages 13 to 18). Students under 18 confirm, when registering, that a parent or legal guardian is aware of their registration. A parent or guardian can contact us at any time to see, correct or delete their child's information.
5. Services that handle your information
To run this website and our programs we rely on a few outside services:
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) receives the registration form and forwards it to our email inbox.
- Google hosts our email (Gmail) and supplies the fonts used on this website. Loading the fonts means your browser connects to Google's servers, which can see your IP address.
- WhatsApp (Meta) carries any messages and payment receipts you send us there.
- Hostinger hosts this website and, like any web host, keeps standard technical server logs.
6. Cookies
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we will update this policy first.
7. How long we keep it
We keep registration information for as long as we need it to run the program and keep basic records, or until you ask us to delete it.
8. Your choices
You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Just contact us using the details below.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
