We teach what school doesn't.
School teaches you to pass exams. It rarely teaches you how to speak so people listen, hold your ground in a real conversation, or sound sure of yourself when it counts. Nexus exists to close that gap.
We run hands-on programs on the skills the real world actually runs on. No lectures, no theory you'll forget by next week — just focused sessions where students practise, get feedback, and walk out with something that holds up outside the room.

Walk into committee ready.
Model United Nations rewards students who know the rules, do the research, and can speak under pressure. Most walk into their first conference having been taught none of it. The MUN Training Program changes that — step by step, in a room where mistakes are expected and feedback comes straight away.

Talk It Like You Mean It ran on September 26 at Metn Innovation Campus, Jdeideh. Here's how the students who took part described it.
The workshop was very interesting. I learned a lot in terms of tips and tricks for public speaking. The organization was really top-notch and the presenters did a great job explaining. It was very interactive and fun. I would repeat it again.

Today's workshop was very nice and beneficial. The arguments, topics spoken, and advice given were essential for a person's communication skills and public speaking skills. The trainers' way of speaking and delivering ideas was beautiful to an extent it attracts you to listen more.

When I first applied to the workshop, I was hesitant because I didn't really know what to expect. However, it turned out to be a really valuable and enjoyable experience. The workshop was very beneficial and creative. I really loved how the ideas were distributed among us, and how we discovered and experienced what is the real meaning behind the ideas and how to practice that in several ways. Who can join the program?
Any student aged 13 to 18. No MUN experience is needed — the program starts from the basics and builds up to a full committee session.
I've done MUN before. Is this still for me?
Yes. Experienced delegates use the program to sharpen their speeches, negotiation and resolution writing, and the mock committee pushes everyone, whatever their level.
Who are the trainers?
Experienced MUN delegates — among the top in the country, each with six or more awards and recognised at national and international conferences — together with experienced chairs, the people who run committees and grade delegates.
Which conferences does it prepare me for?
All of them — LAU, AUB, USJ, NDU and every other university or school MUN. Tell us which conference you're going to when you register, and we'll keep it in mind.
When and where does it take place?
The program is 10 sessions. It starts in November and runs until the MUN conference you've signed up for, so how long it lasts depends on your conference. The exact date of every session is sent to you after you register. The venue is still being decided between Jdeideh and Zouk Mosbeh, and a Google Maps location will be shared with everyone taking part.
Can I reach the trainers between sessions?
Yes. Delegates in the program have 24/7 WhatsApp support with their trainers — send a question, a draft of your position paper or a recording of your speech whenever you need help.
What are one-on-one sessions?
Ten private sessions with a trainer who has won 6+ awards and serves on the dais as a chair, built entirely around you and your conference: position paper review, speech practice and preparation for your committee. They cost $250 in total, payable at registration or in three installments. Choose "One-on-one sessions" in the registration form and we'll contact you to schedule them.
Can I cancel and get a refund?
Yes — cancel at least 4 days before the first session of the program (or 3 days before a workshop) and you get a full refund. Later cancellations aren't refunded. Once you've attended the first session, you're committed to the full $150 — leaving the program early doesn't cancel the remaining installments. To cancel before the program starts, just message us on WhatsApp or by email. Full details are in our Terms & Conditions.
How much does it cost, and how do I pay?
The full program is $150 for 10 sessions, paid when you register. If you can't pay it all at once, you can split it into three installments of $50: the first when you register, the second at the 1st session and the third at the 5th session. Once you start the program, the full $150 is due even if you stop attending. One-on-one sessions are $250 for 10 sessions, paid at registration or in three installments: $90 at registration, $80 at the 1st session and $80 at the 5th session. Payment is by Whish Money or OMT transfer to 03 457 918; just send a screenshot of your receipt on WhatsApp.
